  • The list of recommended devices and specifications is shown below.

  • This list will be revised periodically to account for the introduction of new models and the discontinuation of old/unsupported models.

  • For optimum performance and device compatibility, we recommend using Android and iOS devices that are less than three years old.

Recommended Device Settings (Mobile)

The Zinier Mobile App recommends the following Device settings

Network & Internet

  • WiFi : ON (Keeping WiFi ON even when there is no WiFi connection will help the device get location data faster and thus improve performance while saving battery)

  • Mobile data (Access data using mobile networks): ON

  • Enhanced 4G LTE Mode : ON

  • Preferred network type:  4G (recommended): ON

  • WiFi calling: Can be ON (no impact on Zinier application’s performance)

Connected devices

  • Bluetooth: On/Off (no impact on Zinier application’s performance)

Display

  • Auto-rotate screen: ON. Recommend to set this to set to ON. Sometimes camera can be impacted because of this setting on certain android devices

Storage

  • Free space:  At least 2GB of free hard drive space on the mobile ensures all applications including Zinier mobile application performs at its best

Battery

  • Battery saver: OFF. Battery saver setting turned ON impacts the performance of all mobile application including Zinier mobile application’s ability to perform certain tasks in the background. This might delay sync of data especially when the application is in background.
