Switching between Organizations and Environments

Some users have a user account in more than one Organization (if you have been invited to two different Orgs), more than one Environment (if you are performing UAT testing during the implementation phase), or both. The following page describes how to switch between Orgs / Environments and how to find your Org / Environment names if you need to reference them.

How to switch between Organizations and Environments

If you need to switch between Orgs / Environments, follow the steps below:

1. Logout of your current environment
   

   

2. From the log in screen, click “Log in to a different organization”
   

   

3. Change the Environment Name and/or Organization Name and click the “Continue” button
   

   

4. Enter your email and password and click the “Login” button

How to determine your current Organization and Environment

If you are logged in to your account and want to view your current Organization and Environment, all you have to do is click on the “Zinier Apps” icon at the top right of the page.

I can’t find my Organization Name

If you have already activated your account and need to switch between Orgs / Environments, you will be asked to enter your Organization Name as part of the login flow. But what happens if you can’t remember it? To solve this issue, follow the steps below:

Option 1: Search for the original invite email

1. To find your original invite email, search for an email with the subject line “[Name of the person who invited you] has invited you to join Zinier”.

2. In the email body, you will notice a word in bold below the text “[Name of the person who invited you] invited you to join:”. This is your Organization Name. In the example below, the Organization Name is “org-name”.

Option 2: Ask your admin to re-invite you

Ask your admin to re-invite you to Zinier. Doing so will ensure you have access to the invite email for future use. Your admin can re-invite you by doing the following:

1. From the web, click the Zinier Apps icon on the top right of the screen and open the Admin app.

2. After opening the Admin app, go to the Users > User Base module

3. Search for the name of the user to re-invite and click on the Edit icon to open the sidepanel

4. Click “Reinvite” from the “Select Action” dropdown menu
