Improvements
Tasks syncs in Android are now sequential (i.e. one after the other). While the sync duration might be longer, this change ensures that there is no data loss or sync issues when connectivity is poor or intermittent.
Bugfixes
Several other improvements have also been done to resolve these issues:
Issue | Description | Jira Ticket | |
---|---|---|---|
1 | Page Not Found. | Mobile users see the message, “Page not found” and the task disappears during poor or intermittent connections. | |
2 | The same task ID is no longer showing multiple times. | When a task is dispatched from the web, the same task ID is shown multiple times in the task list. Example of the same task ID displayed repeatedly ![]() | |
3 | The user is unable to move to the next page. | When a user taps the right navigation arrow, the spinner keeps on loading and blocks the user’s interaction with the app. | |
4 | Mobile task submission required multiple attempts. | Users must submit the task three times before it is successfully cleared. The sync duration was 10 minutes with a 4G connection. |
