Recommendation and Notification Enhancements

These release notes include details of the New Features, Product Improvements, and Bug Fixes which are added in as part of the Recommendations + Notifications release.

Work Group Filtering

Overview

Users will only see Recommendations and Notifications that belong to their individual Work Groups.

Highlights

  • Users are assigned to Work Groups that are defined at an Organization level - this will unify the user’s experience throughout the solution

  • Recommendations and Notifications that are irrelevant to the user’s daily tasks will be filtered out to allow them to focus on what’s required.

Removing Full Page Recommendation and Notification “Centers”

Overview

Full page experiences for both the Recommendation center and Notification center have been deprecated with the new experience. The pages still exist, but there is no button to access them.

Highlights

  • The full experience for Recommendations and Notifications will live in their respective panels to avoid forcing the user to leave the context of the solution.

  • Any audit of recommendations (whether they are accepted or not) will be found in the individual task’s audit logs.

  • Bulk actions from the full page Notification center have been deprecated.

Recommendation Filters

Overview

Recommendations can now be filtered in the panel.

The filters will include:

  • Date - Individual Date or Date Range

  • Recommendation Priority

  • Recommendation Type

  • Task Type

Highlights

  • Improved usability of recommendation center by allowing users to quickly pinpoint relevant recommendations

Recommendation + Notification Search

Overview

Users can search the Notification and Recommendation panels to find specific Notifications or Recommendations on the following fields:

Highlights

  • What that can be searched for Recommendations:

    • Task ID

    • Technician Name

    • Recommendation Type

  • The Notification search was not changed, it was just moved from the full page experience into the notification panel

Recommendation Expiration Criteria

Overview

Recommendations will now expire based on a change in Task Status or can be set to “Never Expire”.

Highlights

  • Notifications will automatically expire after 72 hours (no behavior change)

  • Expiration rules can be set in Studio Z for each recommendation type. The side panel can be found under the AI/ML > AIML Rec Type page.

  • Users can set a task to “Expirable” and then select which Task Status' will render the recommendation expired. All custom task status’ for the solution will show up in the dropdown.

Recommendation UX Improvements

Overview

The recommendation panel cards have been updated for readability and additional messaging has been added to enhance the UX.

Highlights

  • Recommendation cards now easily show the recommendation type in a bolded header and the text is separated to make it easier to read and quickly digest information

  • Toast component has been added to give the user confirmation when a recommendation is acknowledged, accepted, or dismissed
