Offline Background Sync Enhancements (Android only)

We have added the capability to enable offline workflows to sync up with the server even when the app is in the background. This improves the sync cycle and lets the technician focus on the task on hand and not worry about the data sync.

• This is only for Android as on IOS we have technical limitations

Workflow Actions Enhancements

Previously, we can only enable or disable workflow actions.

With this release, Solutions can now also hide workflow actions on mobile. If there is no workflow action present, the button is hidden.

Radio Button Enhancements (iOS)

IOS has added the capability to define the order of the radio buttons based on the business process. Android already supports this.

Chat Support (BETA only for BV*)

This is Beta and for BV customers only as of now.

Users can now chat and send attachments and images to other users from within the Zinier mobile app.

To access the chat, tap the menu on the top left, and then tap Chat.

When the app is in use, users receive a notification on their app. When the app is idle or running in the background, users get a push notification for messages.

In the chat feature, users can see:

• Typing indication

• Message delivery status and the “read” status of the message (Progress marker)

• Message timestamp (Sent and received for the device)
